ResponsibilitiesAs our Dialysis RN at CHI Williston Health, you will utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, and delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient's response. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.
- Assesses patient’s health and continuously monitors; completes Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Patient Assessments; detect changes and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
- Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
- Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs
- Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care
- Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures
- Provides patient and family education

QualificationsEducation and Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing, Required.
- Dialysis RN experience, Preferred.
Licensure and Certifications
- Registered Nurse: North Dakota (RN:ND), Required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), Required.
